This beautiful ornamental plant produces flowers from May to October.
It will do best in bright indirect light. Higher light levels will promote strong growth and blooms, but avoid direct sunlight.
Keep the soil relatively moist allowing the top half inch of to dry out between watering. This plant will not tolerate soggy soil.
To prompt flower production remove wilted flowers regularly
Prune in the spring and summer to maintain its compact shape. Snip back the longest branches by half or even two-thirds, just above a bud.
For maintenance pruning, pinch or cut off each new branch at the tip after it has sprouted two or three leaves.
